This blog was born out of necessity. My necessity to share what I've learned and all the things I continue to discover.
I'm not a doctor. I'm not a therapist. I'm not a social worker. I'm not a lawyer. I'm not a psychiatrist. My background is in education and leadership. Period. Until now.
After dealing with my own health issues, mental, physical and cognitive, I became an avid researcher. Somewhat disillusioned with modern medicine, I entered the world of natural medicine. I now know that the two specialties can, and frankly should, walk hand in hand, working together for the well being of their patients.
I became a health and wellness coach because I believe the consistency of having a knowledgeable partner along your journey after you walk out of the doctor's office is extremely beneficial to healing. I want to be that partner with you. I'm not even gonna try to hide it. I want to be your person. I will, one day soon, be a FDN-P. I'm a trainee currently and once that is complete, I'll be able to help even more people. That is and has always been my goal.
Hiring a coach isn't for everyone. So this blog was created to share information and give hands off support. You'll find articles, new research, book reviews, thought and ideas, prompts, techniques and so much information to help you on your wellness journey.
As always, if you are experiencing any health conditions, I recommend you seek a physician or therapist. I am neither of those and don't pretend to be.
Looking forward to learning and growing together.
