That's a Wrap!

Updated: Aug 30, 2022

I've been working at this certification for almost a full year! As an FDN-P, my goal is simple…help people feel better, change catabolic behaviors and lead a healthier, happier life. I call myself a wellness guide. Your health and decisions about it are ALWAYS in your hands. I don't "treat" people like a doctor. I'm not a doctor. But, I give you access to running lab work on yourself, help you interpret those results, educate you and guide you. But most of all, I walk with you on this journey toward feeling whole again.

Why did I choose to become an FDN-P?

I developed an interest in the functional way of life after I was diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases. I was heading down a fast moving river with no paddle and I knew I had to change something. I found Reed Davis and learned about the Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (R) program and signed up immediately. I ran labs on myself and started addressing my daily health habits and supplementing, basically, I got to work on healing. 9 months later…I am no longer symptomatic for RA, Eczema or Lupus and they are undetectable by my rheumatologist. I was sold. It’s now my mission to help others live a healthier, happier life.

Continuous coaching from someone who understands and can interpret labs who also has a supportive, encouraging approach with clients. I’ve worked in education for decades. I’ve been a district administrator, so dealing with difficult situations and having hard conversations while maintaining a positive relationship is my specialty. I’ve coached hundreds of teachers and clients. I’m truly so excited to bring my past experiences into a new field.

Part of wellness is managing stress. I include many strategies in my practice to help clients manage the incredible stress that we face every single day. In addition to FDN, I specialize in teaching tapping, journaling, yoga and meditation.

In addition, I love to write and speak about these passions and my experiences.

Contact me to discuss my practice. I'm happy to answer any questions!
